Meeting Notes

February 2nd, 2009 (Randolph 116)

  • Spring Car Show dates were discussed
    • Date of May 2nd was chosen
  • Drillfield promo was debated on how the club will be allowed back on the Drillfield for this spring. More community friendly ideas were discussed, environmentally friendly.
  • CCVT Olympics were brought up for Spring’s Car Show. Anyone willing to help plan this event should speak to an officer.
    • Trivia, alternator-put, Sentra, wheel mounting, bike/ramp/cones, Turtle shells, Ring of Fire
  • A thread will be made to vote for this year’s shirt design.
    • Rev’s and Colin’s different turbo designs
    • Rev’s engine design
    • Do 200
    • Others?
  • Black and white CCVT stickers will be available soon. Same size as previous years but with updated logo. A small amount will be in the “stick on the inside” version.
  • The trip to the 12 Hours of Sebring in Florida was talked about.
    • March 18-22
    • ~$200 for the trip, student tickets bought at the gate

  • Justin described auto-crossing and presented his challenge to the Club, winner will recieve a one year membership to SCCA.

  • Manning and Jeff talked about drag racing at Shelor
    • Test and Tune on Fridays
    • Students with ID: Free to watch, $6 to race

  • NEXT MEETING: APRIL 3 (6:00-7:00 PM) in HOLDEN AUDITORIUM
    • This meeting is mandatory for anyone considering in partaking in the CCVT weekend activities.
